Tulio i Miguel to para drobnych kanciarzy. Gdy w ich ręce wpada mapa legendarnego Złotego Miasta - El Dorado, wierzą, że dzięki niej odnajdą drogę do sławy i nieprzebranego bogactwa. Sprawa nie jest jednak prosta. Muszą uciec Cortesowi i przechytrzyć podstępnego Najwyższego Kapłana Tzekel-Kana. Ich przyjaźń i lojalność zostają wystawione na ciężką próbę.
